On June 11 and 12, 2024, WUF (We Understand the Future) launched its inaugural event in Basel with a strong focus on cultural journalism and artistic innovation. In partnership with ArtsLife and La Lettura (Corriere della Sera), the exclusive press-only event spotlighted emerging creative voices, fostering a dialogue between art, technology, and media. Hosted at the iconic Bar Rouge, WUF Basel 2024 offered an immersive experience that celebrated contemporary creativity, bridging the gap between artistic expression and leading cultural publications.




WUF Basel 2024 presented a rich showcase of emerging and established voices in art, media, and technology.
The exhibition showcased works from renowned international artists, including Jesse Draxler, Skygolpe, Andrea Bonaceto, Max Papeschi, Nazareno Biondo, Paul Sears, Gammatrace, Leander Herzog, Ana María Caballero, P1xelfool, Woc, Fosco Valentini, Fabio Giampietro, and Joe Pease, culminating in a collective exhibition dedicated to Fakewhale.
WUF Basel went beyond visual art, activating the WUF Studio for a series of live podcast recordings and panel discussions. Key figures like Paolo Manazza (ArtsLife) and Gianluigi Colin (La Lettura – Corriere della Sera) joined the conversation, amplifying the event's focus on media-driven narratives.
